Traumastem TAF Impla
High-performance resorbable haemostatic reticulum
Traumastem TAF Impla is high-performance resorbable haemostatic reticulum made of oxidised cellulose. Traumastem TAF Impla ensures fast and effective haemostasis, is sufficiently mechanically resistant, well shaped and can be easily used in sinus lift procedures during separation of Schneiderian membrane from inner surface. When Traumastem TAF Impla is applied, it becomes rigid enough and is sufficiently tightly fixed onto the mucous tissue base. On small and medium defects it is sufficient to apply one layer of Traumastem TAF Impla, in case of large defects it is recommended to add another one. Mechanical resistance of the closure is very good and Traumastem TAF Impla can be successfully used in rebuilding of defects within the range of the higher part of augmented roof area.
TraumastemTAF Impla handling is easy, quick and closure of the perforation is sufficiently mechanically resistant. Easy reconstruction of augmented roof area is one of the significant advantages of Traumastem TAF Impla.
Traumastem TAF Impla has significant antibacterial activity, facilitates in accelerating biochemical processes and helps the healing process. Thanks to unique features like fast and effective haemostasis, sufficient mechanical resistance, high absorption capacity, adhesion and very well adaptability, Traumastem TAF Impla improves the techniques of surgery as well as decreases the treatment costs. Traumastem TAF Impla is fully biodegradable, biocompatible and atraumatic. It is perfectly absorbed by the body, and does not need to be removed from the place of application thereby preventing the reoccurrence of bleeding, client traumatisation or interruption of the healing process.
Traumastem TAF Impla is fully absorbed by organism within 48 to 72 hours (depends on wound chracteristic) and thereby a possible storing of the product into tissue or/and in cells and possible late irritation do not happen.
Indication
Stomatology – Sinus lift procedures, namely for separation Schneiderian membrane from inner surface, post-extraction treatment, maxillofacial surgeries, for decreasing inflammatory complications
Contraindication: Traumastem TAF Impla is not designed to be used to stop arterial bleeding.
Composition: oxidised cellulose
